Twisted Pair
 
A member of the Reader Extender product family, the SPX-7500 connects 1 or more readers and associated door/gate hardware over any two wire cable, twisted or non-twisted, to any Wiegand or MagStripe based control panel. It also supervises the RS-485 connection. The base pair will support a single door and reader. Using Cypress Suprex® technology and the EXP-2000 expansion module allows for the addition of as many as 7 doors and readers over the same RS-485 connection. Includes both remote (reader/door) and central (panel) units.
