Introducing ROK-solid security, made simple.

 

Cypress Retrofit OSDP Kits make it simpler to upgrade to high-security, encrypted OSDP while retaining a Wiegand panel, for the ultimate in security and affordability.

 

The ROK kit includes your choice of Farpointe OSDP Reader and the Cypress OSDP-Wiegand Panel Interface. This provides an OSDP connection between the OSDP reader and the existing Wiegand panel. The kit is preconfigured with OSDP Secure Channel encryption, for high security all the way from the reader outside the door, to the interface at the panel.

OSDP is the Security Industry Association’s international access control standard for communication, which replaces Wiegand and proprietary protocols. OSDP is a 2-way protocol that offers interoperability, a greater range of functions, and higher security. Learn more about OSDP here
