Upgraded OSDP-Wiegand Converter
Retrofit Wiegand access control systems to support OSDP, by using the OSM-2400-BRD Converter in one of 2 modes:
1) Use to connect an OSDP reader and Wiegand panel. Mode: ACU (Access Control Unit)
2) Use to connect a Wiegand reader and OSDP panel. Mode: PD (Peripheral Device)
2) Use to connect a Wiegand reader and OSDP panel. Mode: PD (Peripheral Device)
The OSM-2400-BRD was developed to address a common customer request for a second LED I/O line, and to ensure availability of the OSDP-Wiegand Converter despite supply chain disruptions.
NOTE: For customers within the USA, the OSM-2400 OSDP-Wiegand Converter is an upgraded
replacement for the original OSM-1000 converter

- Supports Secure Channel Protocol for encrypted communication between the OSM-2400-BRD and an OSDP device

- Use DIP switches to select OSDP device addresses 0-7; device addresses 0-126 supported using COMSET command
- Supported baud rates: 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200, 230400 using COMSET command
